From the age of 17, Denis joined the French weightlifting team. By joining the INSEP, he became part of the Olympic preparation team for the 2016 Rio Olympics. After winning the French Champion title three times, as well as titles in international tournaments, he joined the national gendarmerie by joining the Surveillance and Intervention Platoon (PSIG) to train enlisted soldiers in Professional Intervention.
